An ambitious projectile based Single Player adventure game about a Wizard fixing a broken world
About
The core goal of this project was to create a demo, the team was comfortable putting on Steam as a finished product. The process was driven by huge ambitions and as such the demo is packed full of small features and interactions that were targeting a lengthier experience. We didn't want to cut it out when we had to rescope the demo and decided to leave them in as a showcase of the world we envisioned.

Design
Inspired be simple projectile shooters and bullet hells. we wanted to add to this and create a world in which projectiles influenced the environment and each other in unique ways. The core game idea was based on 3 projectile types named, Needle, Pincer and Boulder. These essentially became the foundation for the world building. What is powering these abilities and why do we need to use them?

The core loop of the game is managing the resources needed to use your abilities as well as making sure you're not having a negative influence on your environment.

For the demo of the game we focused on a single ability and a side quest system of saving small innocent creatures.
